- Bus tour of Assateague – leaves from the Welcome Center on Assateague – 1-1/2 to 2-hours you’ll see ponies and lots of other wildlife; great picture shots
- Trolley Tour – tours the island, talks about the history of the island
- Pony Center on Chicken City Rd – good for the kids
- Fish Tales – charter boat for fishing, clamming, crabbing; good for the kids
- Snug Harbor on East Side Dr – kayak/canoe/boat rentals
- Captain Bob’s on Main St – boat rentals
- Stop by the Chamber of Commerce on the circle at Maddox; there’s plenty to do!!
- Also a lot of day trips – Ocean City is about 1-1/4 hours away. Furnace Town in Snow Hill MD is about 45-50 minutes away. Pocomoke City Discovery Center is about 30 minutes away – fun for the kids and the bar/restaurant right next door is very nice!
